RTG Mission Flights
RTG Mission Flights Ministry is a Tennessee 501(c) 3 not- for- profit ministry utilizing a variety of aircraft to deliver mission teams, medical mission or humanitarian relief teams to their area of service carrying personnel, baggage, supplies and equipment together in the same aircraft, so they all arrive safely with no delay. Their Mission Statement: Transporting God’s helping people and supplies to God’s hurting people domestically and around the globe.
F.L.I.G.H.T. Foundation
F.L.I.G.H.T. Foundation “Flight Lesson Instructional Grants Helping Teens” a Tennessee based non-profit formed to provide funding to ensure the continuance of an already proven and established aerospace education program in Air Force Junior ROTC. This program is currently operating in the Sullivan County school system. Founder, Lt. Col. Herbert (Bill) Powley was awarded the 2010 Crossfield Aerospace Education Award by the National Aviation Hall of Fame and the 2011 Career Contributions to Aviation Excellence Award by the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission.
HonorAir Knoxville
HonorAir Knoxville, a 50l (c) (3) organization formed to help fly as many East Tennessee veterans as possible to see the World War II Memorial. All donors are listed in the commemorative book received by each veteran, and recieve a HonorAir lapel pin with the commemorative book. HonorAir Knoxville has flown over 500 WWII Veterans to see the World War II Memorial in Washington, with all expenses paid. For more information, call Prestige Cleaners, (865)938-7701
Remote Area Medical
The Remote Area Medical® (RAM) Volunteer Corps is a non-profit, volunteer, airborne relief corps dedicated to serving mankind by providing free health care, dental care, eye care, veterinary services, and technical and educational assistance to people in remote areas of the United States and the world.
Founded in 1985, Remote Area Medical® (RAM) is a publicly supported all-volunteer charitable organization. Volunteer doctors, nurses, pilots, veterinarians and support workers participate in expeditions (at their own expense) in some of the world’s most exciting places. Medical supplies, medicines, facilities and vehicles are donated.
